Try letting the mouse out??? its likley to be the drive belt or rear bearing dry,,, could be the motor bearings dry,,
back bearing and motor bearings could be lubed with WD40 but dont put it any were near the drive belts as they will then slip like mad,
spray on the driv belt a bit of "stop squeak" its for car fan belts realy but it works on any rubber belt

SOURCE: GE Dryer makes an intermittent noise when drum is turning with clothes

Warning! To avoid personal injury or even death, always disconnect your appliance from its power source--that is, unplug it or break the connection at the circuit breaker or fuse box--before you do any troubleshooting or repair work on your appliance. Also, because some components may have sharp edges, use caution while working on your appliance.

Below is a link to common solutions that will help you with parts and diagnostic procedures that are specifically tuned to your manufacturers data plate information.
It provides exploded view imagery, belt routing diagrams, parts imagery and function, parts ordering and shipping information, error code details, just about anything you need to get your appliance up and running again. Once you access the site you will be able to navigate numerous pages of information on your product. You will need to enter your model number to access your product information.

Tip: Always provide the complete information provided on the manufacturers product information data tag, located on the unit, and not in the user’s manual. This will help you acquire a more accurate and expeditious response to your complaint. I will post the most common solutions to your complaint. For more specific information please refer to the tip and/or link provided. Here are some things to look for:

If your dryer is noisy, check these:

Rollers
Idler pulley
Glides
Rear drum bearing
Blower wheel
Rollers Many dryers use rollers or wheels to support the clothes drum. When these rollers are worn, they can be noisy. You should replace the whole set of rollers at the same time.

Idler pulley Dryers have a tension or idler pulley that keeps tension on the main drive belt. When it's worn, it can be noisy. When that happens, don't lubricate it. Just replace it.

Glides Many dryers use nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn, they can be noisy. When that happens, replace them.

Rear drum bearing Some dryers support the clothes drum in the rear with a center spindle instead of rollers. The spindle may be a ball-and-socket type support or a shaft through a sleeve. When the components are worn, they may squeak, squeal, or rub. You can't repair them. Just replace them when they're worn.

Blower wheel Your dryer's blower wheel pulls air over the heat source, through the clothes drum, and past the thermostats, then pushes it out the exhaust duct. The blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time. But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you probably need to replace it.

Our clothes dryer squeaks when it is drying clothes. How can it be fixed or what is the problem?

Most time them squeak is like bad brake pads on a car. The plastic bearing is gone and now the drum is riding on the metal bracket. The front of the drum rides on slides and when they wear out you get a scrubbing sound and not so much a squeak. So i would say you have a GE/Hotpoint type dryer with a rear bearing that looks like this:

Dryer about 5-6 years old and does about 5-6 loads per week. last 2 months, with medium to heavy loads, has developed a loud squeak that coincides with drum rotation. light loads cause a lesser squeak, and...

drum rollers/glides, may be that the motor needs to be oiled, in which case you will need to unplug dryer and drill a hole in the casing not to deep just to where it goes through the casing, then moisten the cotton fabric. Hope this helps Tim:

the squealing/squeaking noise is more then likely your drum rollers:

Frigidaire electric dryer catches clothes at the edge of the drum

If the clothes catch on the drum edge the felt seal is worn out , and the squeak could be the bearing the drum rest on or the belt tentioner , it may need oiled , you can buy the felt seal replacement kits online and they are not hard to install.
Hope this helps.
