My china mobile restarts again and again when i put sim card . please help

Were you using this handset in Dubai or is this the first time? "Invalid sim" has two main issues, 1. sim lock, 2. sim connector problem.

First, open the battery cover, remove the sim card (if it's inside the battery compartment) and clean the metal contacts of the sim connector using a soft brush or ear bud dipped in alcohol or acetone or spirit. After it's cleaned, let it dry and again reinsert the sim card, install the battery and try again.

If it's been used before, then probably you still have the old sim card, if so install it and try again. If it's ok then borrow a sim card from a friend (for few minutes) or use your old or another available (working) sim card and try again. If both the old sim card and the other (borrowed) sim cards are working without any problem, then there's problem with your vodafone sim card which obstructs it to install on the Handset, perhaps voltage issue, in that case, you better get another replacement from Vodafone.

Or if the old one which you were using works, then your phone is sim locked, try to reset it using the default code 1122 or 3344 or 1234 or 5678 (should be on the manual) [click here for more info about china mobile codes]. To do this, go to settings, select "Restore" and enter the code, proceed forward giving positive inputs "yes" or "Ok".

After it's restarted, try again with all the sim cards.

If all the sim cards show the same error, then the handset might needs to be repaired or need to be replaced.

I guess your phone has not been unlocked yet. Unlocked phones do not have any specific carrier software and work with all GSM carriers. These include T-Mobile, Cingular and AAAA . Multi-band unlocked phones also will work with carriers in other countries.So I guess you need to unlock your phone so that u can enjoy in your country.

you should try and have the firmware on that mobile reflash but you should contact the store that you bought it from seeing that it is not an original but just a clone i am not aware of any firmware for those phones as yet.

hte thing is...ur phone is handset bundled offer phone..so til the validity ends on ur new sim card..the phone is designed to detect only new sim..so ucant change til validity ends...or u may approach any private local mobile repair shop..i wont cost u much..

try using dual sim..........

insert ur sim in second slot n use by swiching to line 2

weel I suggest you select a main sim on sim menu. Put your simcard in the left side if you have dual sim slot then open the cellphone, go to menu and select sim switch, then select the main switch. it will automatically restart your cellphone. after that you wait and see good signal bar and your operator logo what ever it is. now its ok. hope it will help you......

Try to see if there is something which can cause to electric circuit shortage around the sim card.

First of all the default password for the phones are 1122, secondly about the sim restarting problems, u know its all about network, chinese mobile have put there own configurations in these mobiles, therefore before using your phone, start it without sim and reset factory default.. delete all network configurations and then put your sim and start your phone.. if the problem continues then try putting your sim in another mobile phone and reset factory default for the other phone.. then put the sim again in the nokia or nokLa..
