When the menu is displayed on the LCD monitor, pressing the LEFT button makes the cursor shift to the left tab. When the menu is not displayed on the LCD monitor, the LEFT button operates as the FLASH ( ) button.  Selecting the flash mode 1. Select a desired Recording mode, except the [Movie] mode and the [DIS] mode. 2. Press the Flash button until the desired flash mode is displayed on the LCD monitor how do you turn off the flash on samsung sl202 - 4268flashicon.jpg The flash does not fire. Select this mode when capturing images in a place or situation where flash photography is prohibited. When you capture an image in poorly lit conditions, the camera shake warning indicator ( ã ) will appear on the LCD monitor.

My Samsung SL202 is making a loud beep when i try to turn it on. The lens is out and will not retract. The camera immediately shuts off when turned on and the screen is blank.

Is your Samsung SL202 flashing a yellow light and not charging its battery?

This is an indication that your camera has decided it needs to completely discharge its battery before the charge cycle begins it again.

Rechargeable batteries last longer and perform better when they are completely discharged before being recharged. This is normal.

My Samsung SL202 isnt working the back screen stays black when i try to turn it on and it makes a sizzling noise then then lens comes out but dosent pop back in
that is a lens error in the alignement of the lens;
its may due to some dust in motor lens block ***'y and probly needs to be clean ...

How do you charge the samsung SL202 camera
You charge the rechargable battery in the camera by turning the camera off and connecting to a USB port on your PC (not a USB hub). If the red LED is on the battery is being charged. If the green LED is on the charge is complete. If the red LED is flashing there is an error and you should check the seating of the battery. How do you fix a stuck lens on a Samsung SL202 digital camera?
Yes I have tried Fix#7. I tried to push the lens as I turned on the power but no luck. I tried to twist the lens and turned on the power but still no luck but this time i tried to pull the lens and power on and the lens goes out. I turned off the camera and the lens return to its place as it should.
