No sound from speakers

When you plug in the headphones, the jack itself routes the signal away from the speakers. When you unplug the headphones, the jack has contacts that close again, routing signal to the speakers. If the jack contacts are dirty, they won't close correctly. I suspect were you to clean the contacts, you'd solve the problem.

if you have sound from the headphone jack the sound circuit is good--audio headphone jack when inserted cuts off internal speakers--it could be 3 days old and have a problem with the jack.

hi, to me it sounds like it could be one of two things the first thing i would do is take the control apart and check for water damage spilt drinks or babys dribble can cause buttons to act as if they were stuck.
So remove the case and clean the pads behind the buttons and clean the contacts on the circuit board with dry cloth, then put it back together and give it a try.
you may find doing that will solve your problem.

If not then the chances are the remote has a fault with it causing it to not operate your telly you know the remote is giving off a signal as its showing up on the telly so it may have been dropped causing a fault with the remote.

what you could try if this is the case is go out and buy one of those all in one remotes these can be brought from next to nothing and buying one of these would tell you if the telly is at fault or the remote as if the new remote works the telly then you know the problem is with the old remote if it dont work then their is a fault with the firmware on the telly if this is the case then it would need taking in a getting repaired as this isnt something you can do yourself..

No,u have burn board,must change board,have sound useally,have board prob.signal prob.u get nothing at all or just static raster pic.

may be the head phone jack just plug in some headphones into the TV, and try if sound come out. Check Sound and Audio Devices Properties in Audio tab,and make some change their

hey buddy,u check de drivers installed on pc, or check the adapter joints it gets loose contact,or check have put on the on button in its back side...check to some electrician whether ur adapter is working...check all de joints of wires...dont dis mantle ne thing...if nothing happens handel to suitable service center...

First things first:
1) check your speaker for good connector, and all is working is playing fine.
2) check if your warranty covers one SPK. or RMS

try leaving the telly unplugged for 24 hours if you cant exit the menu using the controll is their a back button or exit button on controll you could even try selecting the av channels using av button on controll if the controll is at fault it might be that the pads behind the buttons have become greasy or damp and not allowing you to press it can you change the channels using controll if it is controll prob take apart remove buttons and clean with a dust free cloth if the controll still works and you can change the channels but still have square on screen then it is fault with telly if you unplug it for 24 hours then ry again if you still have problem post back the make n model n age of the set and i will try again sorry couldnt be anymore help ill have another look when no make let me know....................................................................

Find a friend who has an extra pair of speakers and try, but it looks like your speaker has a short/open Try your speakers on a different system, if the problem follows you, your speaker has problems. The cost of fixing theses might not warrant sending them out. Check your warranty. If you were cranking the volume, you could have blown the speaker driver.
