If the pressure switch detects either water or suds, it commands the drain pump to continue. After 8 or so minutes, if it's still detecting water or suds, the F02 error is displayed.

try the following :
1. Check Wire Harness connections -
2. Check Drain pump. , as water drains at a rapid rate
3. Check Drain pump motor - , as water drains at a rapid rate
4. Check that the Drain hose and Drain Pump Filter is clear of
foreign objects. – , run a cable through both hose assemblies (exterior and interior) and to check if blocked.
5. Check the CCU –.
6. check for kinks in the hoses, and the height of the pump if beyond what the manual recommends.

if okay then check the Pressure Switch if stuck then run many Rinse and Normal cycles with no detergent and if you still get this F02 error. checked the state of the Pressure Switch’s Empty and Level 1 contacts which intermittently reported correct water level condition (EMPTY and Level 1). In all cases is contacts 11 and 14 (SUDS) continuously made (connected) irrespective of water level, rinse conditions and the use of no detergent.

Iremove the pressure switch and test it by blowing into the inlet and check to hear the switch click, test the switch
blew into the pressure switch hose to clear the blockage,

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F02 is a drain error in your Kenmore washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Stops in cycle and says f 02

F02 error is related to drain pump block. If the drain pump gets blocked or the drain hose is blocked the error comes up,this is indication of cleaning the drain pump and drain hose.If the drain pump and drain hose checked ok then its faulty drain pump, its not draining the water so the error f-02 is showing up. error F-02 is a slow drain problem. Remove the wide tapering pipe from the drum to the pump. Inside there is a non return ball valve. Clean this and see if that helps. Take the front bottom panel off and open the drain trap, and see if there is any thing got stuck up,like coins, nails, socks or any small cloth etc etc.--------------While removing the drain pump and drain hose for cleaning, please keep thick towel with you.As you disconnect the drain pump from its connection, lot of water will flow towards you,if your machine is filled with water. So keeping this towel with you will help to control this water flow towards you. This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Keep getting an F02 error. Is there a filter that can be cleaned? The hose is not kinked, frozen or more than 96" above the floor.

sugges using Systems Clean Whirlpool Bath Cleaner by Jacuzzi, Inc. ($15 at Lowes). It took three full applications of the cleaner (it comes with five applications), but the F02 error has finally disappeared! Our F02 was the result of using too much HE soap, I believe. Not sure on what other kinds of blockages (e.g., hair) it would work on.

My duet whirlpool stops at the rinse or spin cyle and gives error code F02. I cleaned out the drain pump strainer twice and got much out of it. It still errors. I took th epum completely apart last...

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

F-02

Please read the following link. This explains what to do if you get the "F02" error code.

If cleaning the drain hose is not clearing the problem for you, then you need to check the drain pump and/or the drain hose from the wash tub to the pump. These areas are notorious for clogging with debris.
