How do i access my webcam?

I use this to test if a webcam is working or not.

Try to get the driver for the webcam
USA - http://support.toshiba.com/ search model number
UK - http://www.toshiba.co.uk/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK choose from the list to find your laptop

If that doesn't work your webcam may need replacing

You need to go to www.toshiba.com and download the software package for the web cam then it should work just fine ........................Good Luck Roy

Uninstall the driver and reboot

If you any more help just ask.

you can disable the webcam software from automatic loading.

In RUN type msconfig and start this tool.
There you will see the tab called “Startup”. Go to this tab and disable the webcam software (remove the mark).
Then apply the changes and reboot the notebook.

Now the Windows should boot up without the webcam software.

Have you tried installing the latest Chicony Webcam driver software from your Toshiba product home page?
latest is version 1.7.231.1126
Download it, right click the file - select compatibility tab and check the following settings

then hit ok and install as usual

You need to reinstall your webcam driver which found in the cd.
