This is common problem with nokia 3110c. just take your mobile to nokia care and update or reload the software of your mobile your problem will be solved.

If ur music player is not starting at all then u mi8nt hav d music of dis formats (mp3/mp4/wav). and the rest formats of songs never get enqued in the playlist though u can play it by using gallery(location of file >play). assure tat u r using proper memory stick as some of the manufacturers make their products such that it doesnt work in sum cellphones.hope it works

Reinstall the firmware again. ( I was succesfull on 3rd time when I had 6120c).
