How to make computer identify your device
I had a problem with my YP-K3 when i lost the installation cd as my computer no longer identified the device when i plugged it in, to solve this (on windows XP) go to
1: control panel
2:add hardware
3:connect your hardware device and click "yes i have connected the hardware"
4:scroll down and select install new hardware device
5:select install hardware that i manually select from a list
6:scroll down to windows portable devices
7:and choose MTP device
this should make it so your mp3 player is now recognised by the computer

Please install these and use for your player.

Have a Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player and need to install driver for it put don't have the installation cd! I cannot find a site to download it from can you help?!!
You can find the software downloads for your products in the samsung website here:

http://www.samsung.com/my/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_ia_cd=1201&prd_mdl_cd=YP-K3QB%2FXME&prd_mdl_name=YP-K3QB&srchword=YP-K3

you should click in the 'downloads' tab the 'software' link and then download and install the 'multi media studio' application.

Enter that site and choose your mp3, I chose K3JAB because that's the one I have. The press 'software' download the Samsung Media Studio!
