Is that what you're looking to find? If that's correct, don't forget to rate the answer. Thanks.

If you mean cable, then it should take a USB cable.

Can not get power to come on

Try to unplug the power adapter of the printer. It's located at the back and check if the LED light on the adapter is on. If not, then the adapter is defective.

If it's on, try to plug the adapter back in and make sure that it's plugged all the way in. If it doesn't resolve the problem, try to plug in the printer to a different power outlet.

X5470 constantly is powering on and off

Please try the steps below:
  1. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the power source. Re-connect after 30 seconds to a different known working power outlet. Bypass any power surge devices or power extensions/strips and directly plug in the cord into the power outlet in the wall.
  3. Re-plug the power supply into the printer.
  4. Press the power button if the printer won't automatically power on.
If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance. Thanks.

My lexmark x5470 does not turn on, and only a red light bright inside near the print injectors. Thank You.

Try to rebrick you printer by pulling out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds. This will reset your printer.

If that doesn't help, try to plug your printer into a different known working power outlet.

If problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Power will not come on. OUtlet is good.

Unplug then replug power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black rectangular box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Make sure the power cord is properly secured in the power adapter. Press power button if it doesn't power on automatically. Plug printer straight to power outlet in the wall. Bypass surge devices or power strips as they tend to draw away power from the printer. If no go, try to plug it to another known working power outlet. If problem continues, contact Lexmark technical support for further assistance.

My x5470 shows light on copy mode only and if i try to press some thing else nothing happen

Remove the power supply (black box where the power cord is plugged in behind the printer) with the power cord still plugged in it and other end still plugged in to the power source/outlet. Leave it unplugged for about 10-15 seconds. Then, plugged the power supply back in the printer. Make sure to plug it in the correct position. Hope this helps. If not, place a comment so I can get back on this. Good luck!

My lexmark X5470 printer power button does not work.

Thank you for contacting Fixya.

Please follow the instructions given below to troubleshoot the power issue:
1. Connect the printer directly to the power outlet. Surge protectors can actually draw power away from the printer. If this fails, please try multiple power outlets to ensure your specific outlet is not damaged, and make sure the printer is not connected to the PC while testing the unit.
2. When trying to power on the printer, feel the power supply box (if there is one) and note whether or not it is warm. If it is warm, the problem is not in your power supply, but most likely in your printer. If it is cold, the power supply might be defective.
3. Ensure you have the correct power supply connected to the printer.

4. If you have access to a voltmeter, please ensure that the power supply is giving out the correct amount of voltage (most of our printers use 30 volts output).

Printer not feeding paper

This sounds like a classic case of dirty or worn-out roller. Try unplugging the printer from the power outlet. Locate the roller (or rollers) and cleaning the rollers with a damp, lint-free cloth. Rotate the roller to get all sides cleaned. If this does not help you might be able to by a maintenance kit from Lexmark.
