They ususally say leave it alone for about 3-4 minutes and it goes back to time keeping mode. Or - you have "turned it off" a feature to conserve the battery while it sits in you drawer.

Cannot get time to set correctly. Hands off ~45min Wave Ceptor atomic watch set on home city CHI. Time is off an hr on screen and hands are off about 45min. Cannot get it set correctly.

You should be able to set your "home"city to give you the correct time but if it is an hour out, then it may be giving DST when it shouldn't (or conversely not giving DST when it should).

You can also se the hand to agree with the digital clock. The instructions are too long to write here but if you haven't go the instructions, you can get them by going to the Casio web site.

Enter "casio.com", select "support", then watches, accept the termd snd then select "watch manual archive".

Read the required number off the back of your watch and enter it into the search box. Click on "search" to obtain your instructions.

Casio Wave Captor Watch wont set to correct time.

You need to manually adjust or set the hands to the home position as they are not where the watch thinks they should be. This can happen when you bring your watch close to a strong magnetic field. Look in the manual to do this. Afterwards your watch should set to the correct time.

How do I get the wave ceptor to come on ?Casio-2688

If DST is set to AUTO,time (DST ON-DST OFF) is corrected automatically when the watch is synchronized.
Synchronization period (Radiocontrol) from 00:00 until 06:00.
If you live in an area where atomic signal cannot be reached by the watch, you have to change DST-NORMAL and vv,manually,by going to WT (World Time) function and when your city (or the closest big one) appears on the display, press and keep pressed for 1-2sec the SET button.
DST mark will appear or disappear, accordingly.
