Hi there, i have a Nokia N95 8gb and the problem is when i put my sim card in and start it up, the signal bar gives me 2 bars max or one bar sometimes or sometimes no serice when im outside. i tried 2 sims with it so far and same thing. can u help me

You shuld go to your provaider and change new sim card with your number then you can make new code . no other way for that the code its block into the network wen you change the sim you will have new sim serial then the network will accept your new baring code.

In the top left hand side of the phone on the signal strength bars in there a red cross ? if so then please take the sim card out and put into another handset and see if it works in there and if it does it indicates that there is an issue with your nokia mobile phone however if it doesn't it means that the sim card has not been activated properly and so you will need to contact you network provider and give them the sim card number.

Offline mode only appears if the mobile phone is not getting the signal from its service provider.
*make sure that the sim is properly connected*reseat the sim card from the mobile phone*check account status for signal and connection availability*power cycle mobile phone
1. turn off mobile phone2. remove phone battery3. remove memory card4. remove sim card5. wait for 2 minutes before plugging back anything6. after 2 minutes, plug back battery7. insert memory card properly8. insert sim card properly s well, make sure that the sim is not dirty as well9. turn on mobile phone10. check the signal bar, it should be with signal this time and not offline

The barring Code can only be obtained from the Service Provider (Sim Card Operator), you can't get it anywhere even with money. Call the customer care of your service provider and ask them to give you the Barring code of your sim card (it's not with related to your phone/hand or model or brand). They will ask your some questions related your sim card registration or sim card's information to verify that you are the true owner of the sim card.

Try checking with your service provider if there's any outage problem in your area. Which is possible since you don't have any bars for signal on your phone.

You SIM card is inactive. You have to make at least 1 paid call every 6 months otherwise your sim is deactivated. If it's new sim has to be activated.

YOU GOTTA CHECK YOUR SIM CARD 1ST.AND ALSO THE LOCATION WHERE YOU ARE,TO MAKE SURE THAT NETWORK SIGNALS ARE COMING, CHECK ANY OTHERS CELL OF SAME NETWORK.IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER NETWORK'S SIM.CHECK IS IT CATCHING SIGNALS ! IF THE PROBLEM PERSIST THEN YOU SHOULD GO TO MOBILE ENGINEER.(CUZ IT WILL BE YOUR MOBILE'S NETWORK SIGNAL IC'S FAULT).

hi there i think you've just turned ON the call barring service, go back to settings turn OFF the call barring service or cancel all barrings.
or try this shortcut code maybe it will work just type #33*1234# then press call button.
