No reset button but if it is software related you can try booting with the recovery cd in the drive. If this does not work then it is likely to be a hardware issue. Hope this helps.

My Asus X553M laptop is not booting up. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Temitope, Hard reset. Open computer, remove battery, hold power button down (((1 minute))), reinsert battery, reassemble laptop, push/hold power button a couple seconds.
2nd fix, try to boot laptop without hdd.(hard drive). Remove the hdd, then turn on the laptop.. then it can get into the bios.. reset the bios to the default setting, turn off the laptop, and then turn it on again with hdd reinstalled. This seems to be what works in the forums with this issue found in Asus laptops. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Wireless LAN button won't switch off.

Most Netgear routers have a recessed button on the back or bottom panel, marked "Reset" or "Restore Factory Settings". Because the button is recessed, you will require a thin tool to press it. Most people use a straightened paperclip.
  1. Power up the router, and wait for it to complete booting up, typically about one minute.
  2. Press the Reset or Restore Factory Settings button until the test or power led starts blinking. This takes about 20 seconds. Release the button.
  3. Wait for the router to reboot.
  4. Log in with the default password. If the reset was not successful, try these additional steps AFTER the router has finished rebooting.
  5. Unplug the router's power.
  6. Press and hold the Reset button. While the button is held down, reconnect router's power.
  7. Continue to hold the reset button for 20 seconds after reconnecting the power.
  8. Wait for the router to reboot.
  9. Log in with the default password.

Windows won't start up? Well, try this Download Tenorshare Data Recovery from its offical site and install it. Burn it into CD/DVD, or USB flash, put into the computer you need to repair, Bios setting. It can make sure your important data will not lose. Best of luck

Wont go into phone mode

Assuming you've tried pulling the battery and booting it again, you could try doing a hard reset on the phone (this would erase all data on the phone), by starting up the phone while holding down the volume up button while turning the phone on, waiting until you get a white screen with 3 skateboarding androids on it, and select clear storage (use the up/down volume buttons to move the cursor, power button to select), then volume up to confirm. If the phone still won't boot up after doing that, you're going to have to take it to a store, as that boot menu is the only thing that you can get to come up if it won't boot all the way up.

My hp 2100 presario laptop in not booting

Startup problems
If the notebook doesn’t respond when you turn it on
• Connect the AC adapter.
• Reset the notebook by inserting the tip of a paper clip into the reset button on the
bottom of the notebook. Then press the power button to turn it on.
• If the notebook still doesn’t respond, remove the battery and AC adapter, remove
any PC cards, and undock the notebook if docked. Then plug in the AC adapter
again, and reset the notebook using the reset button.
If the notebook won’t boot from battery power
• Make sure the battery is properly inserted and fully charged. Check the battery
charge by removing it and pressing the pad on the side of the battery. The lights
show the charge level.
• If available, try another battery.
If the notebook won’t boot from the floppy disk drive
• Make sure the floppy disk drive is selected as the boot device.
• If you’re using a USB floppy drive, use the BIOS Setup utility to make sure
Legacy USB Support is enabled. If your notebook also has a built-in floppy
drive, use the BIOS Setup utility Boot menu to make sure the USB floppy drive
is the first device under Removable Drive.
If the notebook stops responding after booting
Check whether you are connected to a TCP/IP network with no DHCP server. This
can cause a long delay at startup because DHCP is enabled. Contact your network
administrator to determine the proper TCP/IP configuration

***IF THE NOTEBOOK HAS POWER BUT WONT BOOT INTO OPERATING SYSTEM-
Press F2 when you start it to enter BIOS to check your BOOT ORDER to make sure your HD is listed first on the list.
If it is not listed remove it and reinsert it and then try again.. GREAT LUCK!! Please Rate Me, K? Thanks- Lucky4lynn2

Pc turns on when i plug it in but won t boot and won t turn off

Reset the CMOS to defaults. Since it is not actually booting properly you will have to jumper it. Hopefully you have the manual and you need to look at the layout and find what jumpers need to be shorted to reset
