I purchased a Epson WorkForce 600 multifunction wireless printer and installed it just fine onto my desktop computer through a wireless router. My desktop using Windows XP Professional. When I followed the instruction of the manual to set it up on my wireless laptop that has Windows Vista Premium 32 bit, I cannot get it to install. The very first screen starts out with installing Epson Scan software or drivers and about 40% into the install, I get an error message saying that it cannot copy files. Then I cannot go any further. What can I do to add my wireless printer to my laptop. I chose the "add another computer to the network" button as the manual said to do. Please help. Thank you

When I installed the software on my desk top through a wireless router, the manual said to go to Network Settings, choose Wireless Lan Setup, and select Disable. This allowed the printer to install on my desktop and later during the installation it prompted me to remove the ethernet cable for wireless. With that done, I had no problems setting the printer up on my host computer. But to setup the printer on my wireless laptop, the manual says to run the software without using the ethernet cable. But the software gives me error message at the very first installation which is Epson Scan setup. I don't know what to do. Please help.

I cannot install my Epson workforce 600 and get it to accept the IP address for my cisco linksys E1000 router.

I actually own a workforce 600 printer... they are nice for photos... anyway, the following solution only applies if your router is configured as a DHCP Server... This is the default setting, so if you don't know, then it is probably is configured as a DHCP Server. So, First, plug your printer directly into the router (wired connection) Then, load all drivers and software onto your computer. There will be one program in particular that you want to use. It is called "EpsonNet Config". Open that program (it is located in start---> all Programs--->EpsonNet---> EpsonNet Config Vx ) If your printer does not show up, you must verify your network settings on the printer (First make sure your wireless is disabled in Setup ----> Network settings --->Wireless LAN setup ----> Disable.... Then, Setup ----> Network settings ---> general network setup ------> "Yes" ---> press"ok"----> "Auto" ---->press"ok"---->"yes") Now, go back to EpsonNet Config on your computer and click refresh (upper left hand corner). When your printer shows up, double click on it. In the left pane click on network---> basic (wireless). In the right pane, click enable wireless LAN, then type in your SSID (routers name). DO NOT CLICK TRANSMIT YET. Then, in the left pane, click "network ----> security". In the right pane, put in the appropriate security level and key for your router. This information you would have configured when you setup your router. Now... click transmit then "ok". Wait for the settings to transmit 100%. now you can remove the network cable... verify that EpsonNet Config still can see the printer. and you are good to go. I hope this helps.

My epson workforce 600 will not print in black. Ive did the head cleaning many times. Ive bought the cleaning solution used that per directions and then again cleaned the head many times. Still it will...

Hello, Rvarnett -

I see someone posted a similar question about the Epson Workforce 600 on a different repair help website in 2012. Read the solutions provided there:

Do you know how old the printer is - how long you have owned and used it?

It MAY just be time to purchase a replacement printer and send the Epson Workforce 600 to electronics recycling. My personal experience with Epson printers, and I have owned more than one, is that they do not seem to last much past 6 years before they do not work properly.

I have an Epson Workforce 610. It used to send faxes just fine with only minimal errors. Now, I only get error 5303 for the last two months. I am using it wirelessly from my computer, and it prints...

Try this : Look for Setup on your printer and press OK button. Go to Fax Settings, press OK, then go to Communication and press OK. Turn off ECM and V.34. Try re-sending your faxes.
