Sounds like your problem may be with the heating coil.
If you plan to try to repair the problem yourself, then the first thing you want to do is unplug the dryer from the electric.
Remove the back of the machine and try to locate the air duct going from the blower to the drum. Normally inside the air duct you will find the heating coil and the thermostats/thermistor.
Once you have located the heating coil, remove the two wires from it and check the coil with an ohm meter across the two terminals of the coil.
You should read continuity across the terminals, if not you will need to replace the coil as it is faulty.
If the heating coil is ok, then:
You can check the thermostat/thermistor by removing the two wires and taping them together with electrical tape.
If the coil heats up then replace the thermostat/thermistor.
DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THE TEST. This could cause a fire, as you have removed the saftey of overheat from the machine.
I will include these two websites for parts and further help:

Both also have chat assistance 24/7.
Good Luck,
Hope this helps

Heat turns off while clothes still wet

change the gas coils on the gas valve by removing the 2 screws holding the bracket for the coils, remove the wire harnesses to each coil, dont worry one coil has 2 wires the other has 3 so quite hard to reverse

1. When you set the timer knob for the dry cycle it gets stuck and dryer keeps running. 2 The dryer turns on and runs but does not always ignite to provide heat. Heat source LP Gas.

Dryer runs but no heat

lean the exhaust vent tubes thoroughly and try again to heat up
a sensor in your dryer will shut down the heat if lint build up is present

The fuse for the heat keeps blowing but dryer runs

if its an old round buss fuse that screws in the panel(especially an old 60 amp panel),sometimes the center where the fuse lands the insulation gets weak in this area and lets it arc over when the dryer calls for current to heat the element replace this with a sub box and breaker set-up.the other thing it can be is the element is touching the units case and grounding out causing the same problem

Dryer gets hot for the first few minutes only

first check your venting. if you have backed up lint then it will not heat as well. if it's not your venting i would check to see if your heating element is broken and shorted to the casing..some times it will still heat if the coils weld themselves to the casing...if the heating element looks good then i would turn to your electrical.
