Check your blowdown solenoid valve. The unit will shutdown when low sump. because your unit need at least 20psi during unloaded to circulate the oil.

I have gardener Denver's L55 with a low sump pressure fault

To troubleshoot the low sump pressure fault, check first the filter, suction line, and pump. Make sure the filter is clean, the suction line is clear, and the pump isn't seized. If these have all been checked and functioning properly, the next step is to check the differential pressure switch. This allows the pump to switch off when the sump pressure is too low or too high. If the differential pressure switch needs to be adjusted, look for the adjustment nut on the switch and for instructions on adjusting the switch in the owner's manual

How to reset low unload sump

Low unload sump. Would love to help but don't fully understand question. Gas as in air conditioning or refrigeration compressors low pressure (HP/LP) devise can be auto reset or if manual reset, will have a lever or button to push. If it happens often, you will need a refrigeration mechanic.

With an air compressor, make sure there is correct oil and at right level. Unless a big industrial type, there should only be a pressure regulator to control compressor electric motor. Nothing to reset. Good luck

I've got an Peugeot 308 1.6hdi which when on a long journey comes up with low oil pressure stop had the car checked by a mechanic and he said he can't physically find anything wrong with it the oil pr

Engine is not getting enough oil to build the pressure. Either downpipe in sump is partially blocked or the oil pump is not good or oil filter is congested. I once opened the sump and guess what " Sump pipe was just screwed with one screw with a gap on other side causing the oil not being sucked properly". There is a pressure tester method just google it and try to find the bad oil circulation point.

Low sump pressure

well with out a model number this is a tought one , but if your unit is less than 10 hp the low sump pressure is most likely caused by a dirty suction screen or worn out oil pump if its over 10 hp then low sump most likely is caused by a dirty inlet air filter

Check sump pressure? can you tell me what that means

Sump pressure is the back pressure created within the oil sump by pressure leaking past the piston rings. The pressure is usually very low due to the venting of the sump thru the oil sump vent (usually a tube or removable plug used for adding oil). If the vent was replaced with a plug, then pressure will be very high and cause oil leak. Higher sump pressure is also caused by adding too much oil into crank-case. If you are having other problems with compressor, post again. Good luck.
