Main goal, upload Adobe again. Already deleted the old version, but now when I go to upload, it locks up my explorer. Some tidbits, IE8 running on Win XP, security settings are medium. PLEASE help me.....

Have you deleted or uninstalled the older Adobe? If deleted then it will not work. You have to uninstall the previous version. What happens is that very many files are written to Windows folder and we do not know which ones. Hence when we delete a program we only delete what we see and not all. For that you must uninstall the program. That will delete all files wherever they may have been written.
Please uninstall the program and then try to reinstall after a reboot.

No Adobe Acrobat Reader anymore

Don't worry, try uninstalling it using uninstall program like "ccleaner". You can easily uninstall it and again reinstall the adobe reader. If you still have the same problem, use this Foxit reader as an alternative for the time being if in case, you need to read the pdf file immediately. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

Adobe illustartor shows run time error

if you can't figure out exactly the reason why and wish to work with your software, you can uninstall and reinstall it again. You must delete all leftover files from program files and from the registry editor. Want less effort to do? Use Revo Uninstaller to do the work. Search from google, download and install.

Viewing pdf files on internet

Uninstall Adobe Reader, shut down completely for at least 30 seconds, and then restart.
This releases "Locked files" for deletion.
Then do a search for "Adobe", in 'all files and folders' - search with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those files found.
You should do this search and delete whenever you un-install any programs. It will remove lots and lots of leftover junk files and corrupted files taking up room on your hard drive. It will also give you a "clean install" when you reinstall or install an updated program. (Do this ESPECIALLY when updating to a NEW anti-virus programs and “Internet Security Suite” programs such as McAfee or Norton etc.)
BEFORE RE-INSTALLING Printmaster
Download and install "Registry Mechanic" then do the updates prior to running it and removing anything for the first time. This will get rid of all your current Registry errors, prior to installing or reinstalling. Go to the Adobe website and install the newest Adobe Reader 8.1 program.

I deleted some programs off of my computer that I wasn't using. Acrobat/Adobe were one of them.

Do a search for 'all files and folders' - search for both Company Name and then Program Name, (such as Webroot and Spysweeper, or Adobe and Photoshop) with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those files found.
