If a fuse blows.....the worst thing to do is to just replace it!
A person who understands the electronic and electrical complexities of your machine should be hired to check it out. Better to find out if it is worth fixing first.

Door lock and extra rinse light flashes

is it the tub that clunks?was it very noisy in the spin cycle?if so the spider gear is gone and it would be cheaper to replace the washer.you should only be adding two tablespoons of soap that's it,alot of people use to much soap and it eats at the spider gear,if you look inside the tub at the back wall you'll see a piece sign, that's the gear located on the back of the tub

I have a classixx 1200. fuse blew, sparks came from the bottom of machine. now the machine makes a loud clunking noise when in cycle before dumping its load of water

You are lucky the machine is not dumping you!

Never but never just replace a fuse without properly finding the cause. Get a qualified tech to check it out for your own safety and peace of mind.
