Purple and blue screen on dlp tv

Sounds like a problem with the Vertical Video Card.

Have fun finding one. If your TV is still under warranty... send your TV off for repair.

PS3 Blue Ray White lines on left side of TV

I have the same TV, and a Sony BluRay player (not a PS3). I have the same problem.

I found it only does this when playing back 24p disks. My player has an option to disable 24p output to the HDMI, and it "fixes" the problem.

Not really a fix, but a workaround.

Not sure whether it is the TV or player, and sometimes I have fixed it by turning the tv off and on multiple times.

I am going to test the player on another monitor and see if it does the same thing. If so, the player is going back to the store.

your television is going to need an internal repair. most likely in the power supply of the television. it would be best to unplug the television until it can be repaired. If you would like to repair the television yourself then please use our premium service so an expert can walk you through it.
