Check nozzle, do head cleaning procedure. Wait for 30 minutes. Check nozzle again. If there are no difference betwen to output of nozzle check, you have to cleaning head manually. Check for it at aicaxz solutiuon.

Epson D120 printer carriage goes to the left and stays there.

Yes I understand that, I think your proilem maybe that there is dirt/ ink on the slide bars. ( Sublimation ink ias notorious for imparting a residue)

So take a cloth and clean those metal rods that the cartridges slide along. They should reveal a lot of dirt on the rag. Then use some wd 40 or light sewing machine oil on another rag and wipe on wipe off. They only need a very slight amount.

I hope that is of help to you.

I have just changed all the ink's in an Epson d120

If you replaced with "genuine" ink-cartridges, then it should report "full".

If you replaced with "refilled" ink-cartridges, then the company that refilled forgot to "reset" the electronics inside the ink-cartridge, in order to report "full".

Or, perhaps, the software "toolbox" that came with the printer has a button "I have installed new cartridges, please re-verify the ink-levels" ??? Click that button.

Mac leopard -epson tx400 - printer grabs paper - printer very noisy, desk shakes with vibration - now the print on paper is faded help!!

Hello, sorry to hear you are having trouble,
So, are we to understand that your printer did not shake with vibrations and make a lot of noise before ?
Most of these ink jet printers have heads that travel very quickly and abruptly from side to side causing shaking and vibrations, especially if it is on a light weight desk or table, sometimes to the point of almost throwing itself right off the table. This is a normal state for the printer to be in.
Then, you say the paper is printed on, it goes right through to the end, no paper jam, but the colors are faded...
How often do you print on this printer ? Sometimes, the Epson print head dry up and only small amounts of ink get through even though the system indicates that the ink is full...
You can certainly perform a head cleaning operation, I recommend doing it several (3) times to be sure, unfortunately, it's a terrible wast of ink.
Finally, have you replace the ink cartridges? If you get a faded output with new cartridges, you may have inadvertently activated the ink saving or draft mode, go through you page set-up or printer option thoroughly.
I'm pretty sure something here will get you out of this mess.

Ink cartridges wont accept in Epson D120 printer

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Normal 0 Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
