Hi
If your washer leaks every time you run it, then check these:

  • Hot and cold water fill hoses - Check the hot and cold water hoses from the household plumbing. If either hose is leaking, tighten it or replace it, as appropriate.
  • Main tub seal - The main tub seal is located between the transmission and the outer tub. It's the primary water seal in the outer tub for the transmission-shaft entry point. If this seal leaks, you can see the leak by opening up the machine's main access panel while the machine is full of water with a small amount of detergent in it. The leak appears at the underside of the outer tub, at or near the center. This seal is difficult to replace.

  • Pump - If the pump leaks, you can probably spot the leak when the tub is full of water. The pump has two or more black rubber or plastic hoses attached to it and usually has a drive belt that spins the pump. If the pump is leaking, you need to replace it.

  • Outer tub - Over time, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make.

Please rate the solution if you find it useful and helpful.

Thanks

Water is leaking from the bottom of the machine and will not fill up

Hello,

Your water leak can come from 3 areas:

1) drain hose on back of washer is coming off / splitting / getting loose

2) water pump is leaking (cracked?) or has a gasket that has deteriorated.

3) hose between tub and water pump has come off / split / became loose.

Since your washer isn't able to hold water, it makes it easy to remove the clothes, and lean the washer forward to see what is going on. Most washers' mechanicals can be acessed from either the bottom, or from the back via access panel. The water leaks are generally a pretty easy repair.

Water and suds leaking

if you have any suds your either using too much soap or the wrong kind. does the washer drain all the water out each time? is this a new machine where you're washing your clothes in it for the first time? I've seen clothes with resisual soap in them causing over sudsing.

Heavy water leak during when washing clothes

disconnect the hose on the bottom and see if the seal is good.If it is good, then remove the back panel, start the washer and watch and see what seal is broke and you can visually see the exact spot the water is leaking from.
