WFL 2260 Fills hot, fills cold, no wash action, move control to drain, empties, move control to spin, no spin but goes thro. cycle ends program door unlatches, any suggestions?

Motor brushes, worse case scenario motor complete. Run the following motor test.
1. Put main dial to off
2. Press and hold start button whilst turning dial one click to left (easycare 30).
3. When display show 8.88 or two of the progress light come on, release the start button
4. Turn dial anticlockwise to 60 cotton (take the long way, NOT thru OFF or you'll have to start over)
5. Press start

6. Motor should rotate in both directions, pump runs, motor kicks up to full spin.
7. No motor action and two lights flashing on progress lights (separated by a light that's not on) indicates a motor fault.
As suggested brushes or complete motor.
Hope this helps

I have a Bosch WFL2061 - exactly 10 years old and worked perfectly everyday until yesterday. The problem started when we set the program and pressed the start button - it just made a 'ticking' sound...

Hi marc709, il start off by saying WOW! thats an awsome stint for a washer:) on a more sad note the ticking noise you can hear is most likely the power control module. Due to constant wash cycles and electrical switching the machine produces over the years can cause an electrical breakdown in the power supply. As much as id hate to say it mate your better off cutting ur losses now and buying a new or second hand recondition appliance as buying a new power control module would set you back the same amount in price as a new unit and even if you did find a power supply for a reasonable price, (murphy's law) replace a part and be prepared to replace something else, thumbs up if this helps thanks.

IF APPLIANCE IS RUNNING OK I WOULDNT WORRY TOO MUCH THE CLICKING YOURE HEARING IS PROBABLY THE HEATER RELAYS SWITCHING ON AND OFF AND THE MOTOR REVERSING RELAY ALSO NORMALLY THEY WOULD NOT BE HEARD OVER NORMAL RUNNING NOISES OF MACHINE.

Bosch WFL 2060 Washer pump issue

If the pump is working then you will not need a new board..
Remove the pump from the m/c, connect live and neutral supply to the pump, it should run.
If it does then your problem could be an internal blockage in the m/c.
Hope this helps

Drum not turning (WFL 2260)

possibly the belt is off/broken? can you hear the motor turning when the drum is supposed to be revolving? If not supect the motor carbon brushes, or some other fault with the motor/and /or circiut, at best it may be a burned out wire to the motor
