How do I print photos from my cd using hp Photosmart plus?

Don't Connect the printer. First use the cd to install the software for your printer. in the software is a program called print photos or print pictures. After installing the software, connect the printer and switch it on. Start the software and a menus should guide you trough he straps to choose and print the pictures you want to print. Be aware you need to setup things once the program is running, like how big the pictures should be. Don't make them bigger than the paper you insert. Also what kind of paper you use, like plane paper, or photo paper, matte or glossy.

What paper feeder does the 4x6 photo paper go into to print a photo

Pull the paper out of the feeder tray. You will see small marks and a sliding plastic lever. use the picture to determine whether the photo paper is loaded face down or up and then slide the lever over until it hugs the photo paper snugly.

I am trying to print 4*6 pictures on c6280 from my Apple PC. No matter what settings I ask for it pulls the paper from the 8.5*11. How do I set it to print 4*6 pictures?

Hi, It senses the size of paper you put in the tray, that is if you have placed A4 paper, that is what it will use. Options are, use 6*4 paper or print 2 up on A4. To use 6*4 paper raise the paper tray and then pull out the photo tray. If you can't follow this, go to http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01150745.pdf

Pictures printed from computer are pale and faded

Are you using photo paper to print your pictures? If you print your photos on regular paper the ink on the photos can bleed or run together in the paper fibers. Try using paper made to print photos and see if that helps

My printer wont print on photo paper.

Is it worked in past? Have you contact the HP for this problem? Since most of All-in-one printer do not possess better print facility, so it is difficult to use this one for photo print..
Photo paper is thick and may be motor not taking complete load of it. Check out with the roller moving firmly.

I need your help please.

Make sure you are using the paper that come under the specifications of the printer (102 x 153 mm (4 x 6 inches) for a Photo Paper). Though you are using the correct paper and you are getting the same message, then just set the paper type as "Plain" and try to print from the photo paper. It works in most of the cases

gud luck

Printing digital photo on 8x11

Right click on the photo to be printed and select edit. When the picture is displayed pull down file and select 'page set up'. Set to fit 1 to 1 pages. Leave the margins and center were they're at. Pull down file and select 'print preview'. If this fits covers most of the page , type c (this closes this window and returns you to the previous one).and pull down file and select 'print'. If not again type c, select file and 'page set up' again and select land scape. If this is better, print this

PHOTO paper

The HP printer was prepared to use HP's photo paper to print borderless pictures among other things.
If you use a third party photo paper, try using A4 size, position the picture in the paper using MS Word or another WYSIWYG program and, after printing, cut the picture in the right size.
