Where is the serial # located on a 1994 bayliner capri trailer??? Cant find it. Maybe it was a sticker??

Not sure it came with a horn as OEM equipment as the manual doesn't mention it.

Jun 14, 2007 - I just bought a 1990 Bayliner Capri, 16'. The horn button does not work. Does anyone know where the actual horn is so I can test it?

Most of those models are 21'... makes no difference if measured front to back or vice versa.

1994 Mercury Capri ac does not have a cabin air filter. Weak air flow and bad smell could be debris in the fresh air/ac inputs. Check under the hood for debris where the air enters, the area under the wiper, and behind the vents inside, they get clogged if you park under a shedding tree...Chris

West Marine has a lot of compatible aftermarket parts. The wiring diagram for that boat will be hard to come by. If you buy a signal tracer at Lowes or Home Depot, you should be able to backtrace the power source from one of the wiring leads where the old connectors plugged in.

A place around Detroit, called "HELM" publishing can sometimes supply new books for a very high fee. Fortunately Bayliner is still in business and may be able to help you. Just do some web browsing for there contact info.

Most boat trailers use a sticker that falls off for the info you are looking for, try looking on the inside (between rails) of the trailer its sometimes there not on the outside. Many states DO NOT REQUIRE TRAILER TITLES. check with your deputy registrar or license bureau. if you have an old registration cert. you can try those numbers, or the original mso or paperwork if not titled. as NOT ALL STATES REQUIRE TITLES check with your local license people. as said before most states allow home made titles to be issued. since most boat trailers reach the dealer un-assembled that is why they use the sticker system, as the tounge or rails could be used on any one of the trailers the dealer orderd. If you sell the trailer I would definately go thru the paper work as a form of protection for yourself to prove legal ownership

Outboard or I/O what HP?
Look for the model and S/N on the motor
Then trace it that way it's easyer.
If you give me the numbers i'll look up in my book to see if I can find it

I would suspect that you have a loose connection inside the distributor or in the ignition wiring. Give it a good visual inspection. Also, after dark, have someone start the car while you observe under the hood for any arcing or sparking. Doing this at night allows you to see where trouble may be located. chances are the prop has an unbalance condition...You can also check it for excessive runnout by simply referencing it against something and turning it. all blades should remain at the same distance from reference point as you turn it. You can do this to check the shaft as well.
