I have an aqualux whirlpool tub w/ cracked jet housing

Hi. I have an aqualux whirlpool tub, installed by the builder. We just used it for the first time in 4 years (not smart I know) and found that at least one of the jets is cracked. So water was pouring inside the tub and walls. Plumber says whole tub must be removed (100% surrounded by tile) to either replace all jets and plumbing or to replace entire unit. Is there any way to properly cap off the jets (perhas a kit) to delay the replacement issue for a while?

My Aqualux tub is not working correctly. When I push the button for the jets to start they do but when I let go of the button the jets stop, the button will not stay in place for the jets to work

Hello Sheri Walker

Not finding a lot of answers in the USA... (sorry)...

The really good news is the air parts of these
switches are terribly easy to test.. Could just be a loose nut on the tubing...

How do I fix a jet that isn't hardly pumping on my Aqualux jet tub? The other 8 jets work but no more bubbles. Is it the switch? Is that one jet clogged? Do I need a new pump? How do I get the jet out

hello Tami!
That particular jet is probably clogged.
You can find special cleaners NON ABRASIVE at your local hardware stores.
Be sure to tell them what cleaners you are looking for to make sure it is a non-abrasive type.
Or call in for service. Here is a link that may be helpful to you.
Best of Luck,

The jets on my Aqualux x270 will not run when I turn them on.

This sounds to me like maybe the circuit that recognizes the water in the tub may be malfunctioning.
What is the model number of the control under the tub?

Aqualux whirlpool tub how do I clean jets?

Try and blow the lines out with air, sounds like something is stuffing the water jet. Drain system and turn off power first.

We have Builders #6032 and it has small hairline cracks in tub bottom. Its starting to leak into our basement. What do we do to fix it?

alot of times if you call the tub builder they have service guys who will come and fix your tub. most tubs have a 3-8 year warrenty against defects so you could get the fix for free. if not you can always try and get fiberglass resin and mix a batch up and seal the cracks yourself

Lasco whirlpool tub leaks. Water runs out on

Sorry, the tub will have to pulled out to find out what is leaking so it can be fixed. There is just no other way UNLESS you can open up the wall on the blind side of the tube. (but its probably and exterior wall...if the house is vinyl sided, it can be done. If brick, you'll have to pull the tub). If you just wanted to convert to a tub only, maybe Bathfitters has an insert solution...
