Being this was a year ago, I doubt you need the help any longer; I am posted this to help others who might encounter the same problem. I had the same issue, and couldn't find the answer anywhere either. So what I just did was took the ink cartridges out, unplugged the unit and held it upside down, shook it a few times, and boom! There was a tiny piece of plastic that came out. Must have been laying in front of the roller that pulls the paper from the feeder and obstructed the paper from going through. I have a 2- year-old who thinks the printer is a dollhouse and plays with it all the time and must have put that piece of plastic in there. That's my guess.

FreeThinker1 solution worked! Try this before flipping unit over and banging it!

With access cover open, take letter sized paper, fold it in thirds or quarters, slide it into the paper feed at back of unit (normal paper feed direction) on the side that's obstructed and look in the unit to see where the paper enters. Then use card stock or thicker paper in reverse direction.

SOURCE: paper feeds crooked

Sounds like a blocked paper path, paperclips , staples , bits of paper etc can drop into the sheet feeder entry and get stuck in the paper rollers.Look and see if you can see anything in there, if not try feeding a piece of thin card back through the printer from the front (ie in reverse of the normal paper travel) be careful and you may be lucky and drive out the obstruction, if not you will need to strip it down to investigate further

SOURCE: canon ip3300 paper feed not working properly

There is a small switch on the bottom left on the front of the printer that was selecting envelope feed instead of paper feed. Changing this fixed the problem.

SOURCE: Paper wont feed into printer no paper jam

In the comments section Blumm suggests pushing a piece of cardboard (like the back of a legal pad) through the feeder as far as you can. Turn the printer off and then on again with it in there. Pull the cardboard out and check for any foreign objects that have been pushed through.
It worked for many people including myself - I got a piece of plastic and it works wonderfully again!

SOURCE: paper won't feed properly and

There are a couple of possibilities. First is a little piece of paper could be stuck somewhere along the paper path and is causing one of the feed rollers to not grab the paper evenly, which will make the page twist on most of the models in this series, if you pull the paper out and take a flashlight and look up the feed path you will usually see anything in the feed path near/on the rollers at the top.
Another possibility is one of the feed rollers is old and worn out (If machine gets heavy use) and it will cause same issue.
Also light paper stock can sometimes be too thin for the rollers to grab properly and cause it to twist and slide around. This is usually more of an issue with gravity/drop feed printers but can also occur on front feed style too. Usually 20lb stock is good, but if thats doing it, you can try going to a 24lb.

SOURCE: Paper feed issues when there

85% of paper jams are caused by worn rollers . The rubber treads in the rollers wears down, making them smooth, so they won't pick up the paper. Sometimes, they are aged, which also gives them a smoother rounded texture, causing jams. The quick fix is to liven up that roller with a mixture of alcohol and soap. Damp a rag with the solution and wipe the rollers clean with it. That's make them more pliable and the paper jams will cease. If you plan to keep your printer,

Replace the pick-up and feed rollers.

Paper feed issues when there is no Paper jam. All the rollers move when the printer tries to feed paper. It'll feed about and inch and a half of paper and then stop showing a Paper Jam.

My inkjet printer is not feeding paper properly. Pages feed at an angle even if they are square in the tray.

I would check for little bits of paper stuck on the roller. Did you have a paper jam prior to this problem? Using a good flash light, look for, and remove any little pieces that you might find.

Kyocera 3900dn says paper jam in rear but no jam evident

Usually a printer doesn't lie when it indicates a paper jam, if you have checked as thoroughly as possible and no paper can be found. It is possible that the paper just isn't feeding and a printer will sometimes indicate a paper jam when paper doesn't feed. But if this isn't the case and a jam is indicated as soon as you turn the printer on, one of the plastic jam sensing actuators may be broken or hung up.

I would perform a hard reset of the printer electronics and also reinstall the driver to see if the combination of these two procedures restores proper operation.
