they attach to each side of the metal bar. i threw the springs away because i couldn't figure out where they went, and now the unit shakes like crazy :) but i read up on it and found out the springs go on each side of the bar i think. 50 bucks will replace the bottom part of the machine (base and motor) https://www.unitycart.com/pjss/parts/parts_classic.asp
If you have enough fuel pressure the pumpl will not allways run anyway, carefully slacken a fuel line on the pressure side and see if fuel weeps. Get someone to try and start and see if you can hear the injectors clicking, also check spark (up to this year the fuel injection was a part function of the ignition, if the module in the distriputor goes down you get no fuel either.
There's a button with a speaker with a cross through it on the dash to the right of the steering wheel.Should be the furthest button to the left.Turn yr ignition on and within 10 seconds press and hold this button till the indicator lights flash on the dash.Problem fixed.
We had a Breville juicer which we just recently used but after a few hours it stopped working. May I know if whats the problem with it. We tried to open it but we can't figure what cause the machine to stop.
There is a little knob on pulp collector that pushes in a switch, probably to assure the unit is assembled before operation. Mine broke off. I opened bottom of unit and used electrical tape to permanently engage the switch. The Juicer now works. I consider it poor construction that such an important part of the operation of the unit is able to break off and poor customer relations that there is no help for this on their web site. I have used it only a handful of times and the unit has mostly been in storage and has not been abused.
I hate to admit my wife was right: "Don't get it. It's too cheap. You get what you pay for!" Gaads, I hate to admit this THIS time, she might have been right! I am going back to play with it to see if I can figure it out! There's gotta be a way to clean it! Otherwise, it is just a salmonella breeding laboratory!
Oh-oh! I just found it - (after I cut one of my fingers on the cutters looking for access!) Here is the answer:
1. Do NOT turn the basket/cutter part. Just because there is a knurl on the cutter basket doesn't mean we put our hands on it -- yet! 2. Turn the entire TOP in which the cutters nest approximately 60-90 degrees CLOCKWISE. 3. Lift the entire plastic assembly straight up. 4. The cutter basket will now separate from the plastic top.
Good luck -- and don't cut yourself, unless the taste of your own blood excites you!
Hey, you probably have figured it out! I just got a juicer without a manual and couldn't find a way to dismantle for cleaning but I got it!!!!!!!!! Just put it upside down and twist and turn. Everything will fall off ( cutter and container). I'm so happy to help!!
