Try a safety pin in the reset hole by the battery compartment most paper clips seem to be much to big. For a diagram of the reset hole see web site mentioned in jimg's suggestion

Sony dsc w50 quit working

I think the memory card is full , try first taking off the battery and putting it back.
If the camera still does not work, try a different memory card.

If you still have problems, try going to setting menu and reset camera settings.

Wii error code 003

Hello
Try this.

The code itself will appear on a customer's screen usually after firmware is upgraded. The screen will become blank with a message of "Error 003: unauthorized device has been detected". The system also notes the error is due to memory, data, or save related issues and provides a phone number to call for assistance.
There is a technique one can use to try to "break" back into the system. This may be accomplished by holding down the reset button while at the same time turning on the power. A menu should appear on the screen with an option to run a brick safety program that can restore device functionality. Keep in mind, though, that this has only worked with modded consoles

Panasonic DMC-TZ3: one day it's working fine, next it won't power on. Tried the "Power Saver" reset technique posted ... didn't work. Battery is fully-charged.

Hello
Try removing the battery and the memory card for 1 minute then return them back. Make sure the battery is inserted properly. If that didn't work, try turning it on without the memory card.

Turn the console on, displays the xbox screen then screen goes off and a red light starts flashing on console, says system error

is this a single red light? if so, it is a E code error. if there are 2, it is a overheating problem. if its 3, it is a general system error which could be a number of things which you need to figure out the secondary error code to narrow down the problem.
to find the secondary error code:
1. after the red lights start flashing, hold down the "controller sync" button.
2. push the "eject" button 4 times and count the amount of red lights that flash. the red lights will begin to flash rapidly. secondary error codes are only 4 numbers. 1 light = 1, 2 lights = 2, 3 lights = 3 and 4 lights = 4.
after you get the code go to this website, and on the right hand side of the screen under "Xbox Repair Guide" select your PRIMARY error code (1,2,3 or 4 slow flashing red lights). then it will ask you to enter your SECONDARY error code, which is the one you discovered in the steps above.
this will give you a very narrowed down idea of what is wrong with your console, and will give us "questions answerers" a better idea on how to help ya out!

Camera will not turn on

Try changing batteries is the first thing you should try, the memory card isn't really important if your Eos isn't working.

If your Eos works, try looking on the lcd screen. It should give you an error code. Go to canon's website into the camera section and look up the code.

If that doesn't fix the problem, if you are still under warranty, I would suggest you to contact Canon for fixing it. If your under warranty, it should be free. If your not under it, you might need to pay.

Cannot reset camera

I was having the exact same problem. The screen would turn red and i would get an error message. I realized the lens lid stayed open even when the camera shut itself off. I hit the corner of the camera a few times (the side with the lens) until the lens lid shut. Then I tried to turn on the camera and it worked!
