when you are trying to record and you get this message
scroll to bottom of screen (task bar) right click select task manager applications you will see whats running if you see something you dont need running select end now also under processes see what is ticking over youmight have a virus and users you will see who is using your computer

It will not showed up if your Windows is Vista or Windows 7 64 bit. If ever you need to download and install the driver for your dazzle Device. You can download it to Pinnacle website.

How can I import my videos from my Hi8 video camera to the Dazzle Plus Pinnacle 12

Welcome to fixyah,

Open your Studio 12 and then click on capture tab and then go ahead and click on setup capture source under video click and choose your dazzle device. Connect your yellow red and white cable to your dazzle and then end part to your HI 8 camcorder. Open your camcorder and when the video showing to your preview windows of Studio 12 then hit start capture

My computer will not install the dazzle DVC100 driver so I cant select it as a video source on the Pinnacle Instant DVD recorder. what do I do?

The reason why it is now showing because your computer did not detect it. If your Windows operating system is vista 64 bit then go ahead and download the driver in here. www.pinnaclesys.com then click on support, download/Studio and dazzle hardware for vista.

Dazzle boards recording problem

You need a faster video card for it to make it work properly. Install the video card driver.

The option for select a recording time won't let me enter a time

I have the same issue. It's extremely frustrating and that solution wont work for me. When I go to 1 the only option is "Pinnacle Capture File"
Any other help?

At Step 4 of the installation, each time I hit "Start Recording," I get a pop-up message that says "Please enter a valid record time." But, it will not let me enter a time into the box.

it is becuase the dazzle capture device is not selected as your video source. Please try to go back to step number 1 select video source . Make sure that pinnacle file capture is not selected but the dazzle is selected then try it again.

Please try to uninstall the program Instant DVD Recorder.

Download the latest version of Instant DVD Recorder in the link below which is the 2.6.

Make sure that the program that you have must be uninstall first before you start downloading the file and install it.

It is just because your dazzle is not detected by your computer. Here connect the dazzle at the back of your computer (if you used desktop) any other usb port (if you used laptop) Click on Start>Control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound and video games controller> right click on video capture device and uninstall it. Restart your computer.
If ever that your computer has Vista 64 bit you need to download and install the driver. Here is the link.

Download and install that to your computer
