Noisy blower on carrier weathermaker 8000

If the blower turns noisy check for any unbalanced like dirty blower, worn out blower bearings, worn out rubber mountings, loose bolts and nuts, or damaged v belts. These are the reasons making the blower noisy. Check also if the blower has any part damaged.

I have a Carrier Weathermaker SX HVAC unit with a Honeywell thermostat. Even if the thermostat is turned "off", my fan keeps blowing!

Hello, usually this is a sign of a bad blower relay on the intergrated control board. The only option is to replace the control board.

I have a new home 1 yr and when the furnace kicks in, I am assuming the fan it makes a noise but as soon as the heat starts the noise is gone, could this be the furnace blower

Check by turning the unit off and turn the fan to on. Do you hear the noise now? The noise your hearing could be coming from your combustion fan assembly instead. Newer furnaces have a in-shot burner and are nosier than the old style of heater.

Furnace runs constantly since blower motor was replaced

Sounds like they wired it direct to line voltage , it should run through a sequencer or fan relay to cycle on and off , your seq./relay could be stuck closed to but unlikely being it was just repaired , call the service company back before you do anything they are responsible.

Carrier Weathermaker SX model 58SX060-CC Blower runs all the time

Remove all power from the furnace, it is likely the brain in the furnace is need of being reset, from the battery replacement, why did you change the battery, was there an indicator telling you to change it?

Many times just removing all the power to the furnace will do the trick with a reset, if not let me know and we will go from there, but it sounds like the main brain is confused or bad, more likely confused, so try the power removed first.

Than let me know [email protected]

Your blower motor may have failed. Check the blower motor for the air circulation and you may find it is hot but not running. Have the motor replaced if this is the case.

Carrier Weathermaker SX

If you are running it in the cooling function, your drain maybe backed up. Find your drain outside if you can and suck it with a shop vac.
