The only way is with the remote. Try to find a GE or RCA universal remote. These remotes are designed around GE and RCA tv's and generally don't have to be programmed. (GE and RCA are both THOMSON made sets). Thanks

What Channel should my Durabrand Old Model TV be on for playing Xbox 360 you see it Those not have a Red Video Input on the Tv to Play my Xbox 360

The good news is that the red cable is one of the audio channels. Your tv is mono and will work fine without the red cable. You need to hit the input button on your remote or your tv. You can also try hitting the channel down button. Once you get past channel 2 or 3, it should go to the inputs. I hope this helps.

How do you get your xbox 360 to play, on a 65'' mitubishi projection tv,its connected but nothing comes on screen when i put a movie in just a blank screen and no sound,if i'm on a channel, the channel...

Hello

The Xbox 360 connects to a TV using either

- COMPONENT (red blue green for video, red and white for audio

- COMPOSITE (yellow for video, red and white for audio)

- HDMI

So, if your TV is on a "Channel", it is not on the correct input to view the Xbox 360.

Check the Xbox and verify which cables it is using to connect to the TV. When you find this, follow the cable to the back of the TV and find the input selection. It should be listed as the type and a number (i.e. HDMI 2, COMPONENT 1).

Have the Xbox on. Use the TV remote and use either the INPUT or the MENU options to change the input to the input that matches the port that the Xbox is connected to.

This should make the Xbox work.

When you are done with the Xbox, use the INPUT or MENU to change back to the tuner to watch TV.

No remote..want to play xbox...how can i do this without remote? TV has no input button

Just get a cheap universal remote, and program it to the TV. Some TVs don't have the dedicated buttons to switch inputs, without the remote.

I have an RCA Powertrak tv that does not have the remote. I have a cable box that has an audio imput section that i hooked to my xbox 360. I have run an auto program and it does not find the channels that...

First, remove the XBox from the cable box and move it to the TV inputs. Use the menu on the front of the TV to change the input device you have plugged the XBox into and it will work. In other words, connect the XBox to AV2 in the rear of your television and select AV from the menu as the input for your device and the XBox screen will appear. If you reconnect your cable to the cable input on your cable box and connect the output to your AV1 on the TV, it will detect your stations, as long as you select Cable from the menu for input type. Let m know if you understand what I am saying.

No color on HD channel while playing xbox 360

this is sometimes due to an improper organization of the component jacks in the tv input. it doesnt sound like thats the case considering it was working before, but you might want to take a second look and make sure your colour coded component jacks are in their corresponding inputs.

How do you switch to aux on a rca tv. i want to play my xbox on my tv but when i plug it in i cant get the tv to play the xbox.

Sometimes the "Aux" input "channel" is found BEFORE Channel 2 (between your last channel and your first). Other times, you have to use your remote, go to Menu and setup. It varies with almost every TV, so you may have to try all approaches.

Why wont my xbox play in color

Sounds like you are using the Component cables but are not on the correct component channel. Keep searching through your input channels to find the right one. Some older TV's that intergrated component inputs merged them with the normal input channels. I had this same problem with a JVC TV.
