Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and walk over to the keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter. If this doesn't do the job your keypad is probably bad.

The key here is what Don says "press and immediately release." I had been following the manufacturer instructions which say press and hold. Then I would go over to the key pad, try to program it, and it wouldn't work. I read Don's post and thought, "Hmmm, I wonder if I just quickly pressed the 'learn' button on the motor unit what would happen?" It worked. Thanks Don!

That keypad should work with your opener. I suspect the keypad is bad if you have other remotes that work. If not it could be the logic board.

I don't know this model. (in australia). the chamberlains here are probably the same. the 4 digit code you first put in the keypad is what you have to use. push the learn button on your operator then punch in your 4 digit No. Hold the enter button on your keypad until the light flashes on the operator.
That should code it in.

I have liftmasterPro garage door opener. How do i

You cannot change the code of the opener without purchasing new remotes and not using your existing remotes. To change the code of the keypad locate the smart/learn button just to the left of all those white wires. Press and immediately release this and then walk over and key in any 4 digit number and press enter.

Programing keyless remote

The odds are the keypad will not work with your new opener. The radio frequency has been changed on the new openers. But if you want to try you just press and immediately release the smart/learn button on the motor unit and then walk over to the keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter. These instructions are for a wireless keypad.
