Ice Dispenser water inlet tube was not dispensing water into Ice Tray. Have already changed the Primary Water Valve Kit that feeds water to Ice maker. Water Pressure is adequate as plenty of water comes out of the Waer Dispenser on Door. Cannot figure out what water does not dispense.

If the water filter has been changed. And there is water going to the door, then the valve or circuit to icemaker is bad, or the unit or door is frozen.

Samsung side by side ice maker not working

You have 2 separate valves, 1 for the water dispenser and 1 for the ice maker. (otherwise your ice maker would overflow every time you got water from the dispenser and your dispenser would flow every time the ice maker went to refill.) They are fed from the same tubing.

The cube/crushed ice motor is completely separate from the ice maker itself and should have absolutely no bearing on the water flow.

You have narrowed down the problem quite nicely to the ice maker water valve. There is one more thing to check though, the connector. There should be a multi-contact connector from the ice maker to the back wall of the freezer, usually 6-9 wires. Pull that apart and check the cord side (ice maker side) for any corrosion. BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE OTHER SIDE AS THERE IS LIVE 110V!!! If you don't see any corrosion, still try try disconnecting and reconnecting 5-10 times and see if that solves your problem. If you see corrosion, unplug the refrigerator before working on the back wall part of the connector. [This connector besides powering the ice maker also allows the ice maker to control the water valve which can't be inside the freezer]

No water being dispense into ice maker. It's doing it usual dumping & everything . The cold water dispenser in the door is working.

Probably a bad inlet valve on the lower back where the house water line hooks to the refrigerator. Its a 2 part inlet valve. Half feeds water to the dispenser and half feeds water to the icemaker. You can't change half--need a complete valve assembly. Not hard to change. Disconnect house line---unplug 2 wiring plugs (4 wires total) and disconnect 2 plastic water lines. Reverse to install---don't get wiring mixed up or reversed.

Ice maker isn't working. Water is not filling the tray but the water dispenser in the door works fine.

could be frozen water fill tube to Icemaker. or solenoid water valve is not opening when ice maker calls for ice. there are 2 separate solenoid valves : one for dispenser another one for ice maker.

Fix icemaker

Start at the water valve at back of unit and work your way to the ice maker. Make sure the hose at the back of the frig isn't block. Also that the arm on the maker is down and in the on position. If all this checks, then go back to the solenoid that turns the water on and off to the ice marker.

Ice machine not working

Ice dispenser doesn't work
  1. Dispenser control board
If the ice dispenser is not functioning at all the most likely cause is going to be the dispenser control board. The dispenser control board governs the major portion of the systematic functions of the dispenser and is less likely to be the issue if only certain components are malfunctioning. If the dispenser control board is at fault, it will need to be replaced.
  1. Water inlet valve & low water pressure from house supply
If the ice dispenser on your refrigerator is not working properly, one of the first things to consider as an issue is the water pressure to your appliance. The ice dispenser cannot properly function with a psi less than 20. If psi is appropriate, proceed to replace the water inlet valve to correct the issue. You may also be dealing with low household water pressure. This low flow can be examined by using a water pressure test gauge. Once the household water pressure is resolved, you can double check your refrigerator connection to ensure it is now flowing properly and that the ice dispenser is functioning.
  1. Water tube in door is frozen
If the ice dispenser is not working on your refrigerator, the issue could be a frozen water supply tube located in the door. Although this may be a tricky problem to locate, the first thing to do is find a connection point in the tube. After this has been found, attempt to blow air through the tube. If the air flows freely through the tube, it is not frozen and this is not the issue. If it does not, the tube is frozen and needs to be removed to thaw out. As it thaws, attempt to ascertain why it froze and correct the positioning of the tubing to prevent the issue from occurring again in the future.
  1. Dispenser switch
If the refrigerator ice dispenser is not working properly you could be dealing with a defective dispenser switch. Activated by the dispenser actuator, the switches are responsible for numerous actions including ice cube disbursement, type of ice, and water controls. The switch can be tested using an ohm meter and should be replaced if it does not reveal continuity.
  1. Door switch
If the refrigerator ice dispenser is not working, the functionality of the door switch can be inspected. This switch is responsible for turning on the light in the freezer and simultaneously turning off the ice dispenser when the freezer door is opened. If this switch malfunctions, it will show no continuity on the ohm meter and will require replacement.
Ice maker not functioning or producing ice cubes
  1. Check connections
Check all hose connections to ensure that water is being transmitted through your appliance and there is no frost build up.
  1. Feeler arm
Double check to make sure your feeler arm is not stuck or that ice cubes are not blocking the feeler arm's motion to produce more ice.
  1. Ice maker heater
The heater may be stuck on. The heater comes on for 1-2 minutes to break cubes free from mold. If the heater stays on too long ,the ice maker will get hot and stop making ice. Carefully feel around the ice maker mold; if it is hot to the touch, the heater is on. This indicates that the ice maker is jammed, and it is better to replace ice maker than to try and repair it.
  1. Water inlet valve
The water valve supplying the ice maker is a key component of the ice-making system. When the ice maker calls for ice, its switch closes an electrical circuit and energizes the solenoid-operated water valve. This allows water to flow through the valve and into the ice cube tray. The water is frozen into cubes, and the cubes are dumped into the ice bin. When this part is not operating correctly, a repair/replacement part may be needed. Ice maker does not make ice anymore. appears the tray is not filling with water. door water dispenser is still working

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. It’s on the back where the water supply comes in. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

When you try the water dispenser the water will come out there. When you stop the water dispenser, if the water at the valve doesn't stop, the valve isn't closing so you'll need to replace it.

Icemaker won't fill tray,

Was the inlet tube frozen. If so your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking and when the water reaches the freezer it freezes, blocking the inlet tube. Replace the water inlet valve.

Ice cube tray isn`t filling with water but I have water on the door dispenser.

Hi, Check the inlet tube that comes through the back wall into the ice maker. See it has froze shut.
If there is ice in the tube, thaw it out and let the ice maker cycle. Plan on changing the inlet valve if the tube is plugged.
If the inlet is not plugged, let the ice maker cycle and listen for or test the valve for 120V. If there is a buzzing sound or you are getting voltage and no water, remove the tube frrom the valve that leads to the ice maker and see if water comes out of the valve.
If no water comes out of the valve, change it.
I hope this helps you.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
