Laptop hinges cannot be tighten, there are no adjustments available. The hinges need to be replaced. Replacing a hinge, or both of them, isn't very tough this WEB site shows how it is done. http://www.insidemylaptop.com/replace-br...
if the printer was plugged in while the power failed, it (power failure) may have caused damage to the circuit board (mainboard) located inside the printer itself. if you live in Canada, we do suppoort the board level repair for HP, Xerox and Lexmark brands. If the board is damaged , we can replace or repair the board . If you paid more than one hundred dollars for the printer and under two hundred, its worth while repairing the board or replacing it. If you paid less, the printer is useless to you . sorry to tell you . Alternatively, go to this link below and follow instructions.
search "gateway e-155c lcd swivel assembly" on google or any other search engine and you will find the part that you need. You will need to do your own replacement, but that is the part that will fix your problem
My 2007 Optima Driver's Side visor also had the same problem. I removed it with the screws under the plate at the base of the visor. Upon further inspection, the plastic inside the "hinge" had shattered inside the plastic sleeve. I am currently attempting some at-home super-glue-and-epoxy repair. If this works, I've saved myself a couple hundred bucks in repairs.
