Sony Vaio game lag only using fraction of graphics card

first tell me what graphic card you are using,
The way i look it is due to you graphic card because it is not support higher resolution try to lower down the graphics setting in game and disable vsync also lower down other advanced setting in game.

First, Did you check the Windows 8 Spec Requirements? If you have a laptop the Graphics Card will be a problem, most likely it can not be changed.

Hi. Try lowering the video settings on that game, because usually for this game you should have at least a 256mb graphic card and 1GB of RAM or memory. Just make put it on the video settings on the lowest settings posible like 640X480 and also try turning off some video enhancement on that game, if you still having some lagging problem then consider upgrading your graphics card and memory. go to the following website, scroll down and download mobility modder. http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php you will also need to download the lates catalyst software from ati don't worry that it isn't for your graphics card because mobility modder will change the files. finally follow all the instructions on the dh modder webpage where you downloaded it from and you can't go wrong. i used to have a sony vaio and i couldn't beleive how sony supports their customers after sale. they haven't and probably never will release a driver for these graphics cards. Shame on Sony!
