I have my pc formatted and shows some chkdsk errors. but the main problem is i have my original drivers cd and instaled.but at end of sound drivers installation it shows an error"exit error:this drivers...

If you're drive has errors installing software is not a good idea. Repair the disk errors first. The best way to fix drive errors is to download the manufactures tools -utilities software and check the drive/repair. Every manufacture allows you to download software where you can create a bootable floppy disk or a bootable CD-ROM disk. These function in a Dos like mode. You'll be able to check the drive for errors or problems and most times will repair the drive. It will also let you create partitions and format the drive. (Do this before installing windows).

The Mercury MB P4VM800M7 uses Realtek ALC655. Open the link provided by cnet;
http://download.cnet.com/Audio-Realtek-ALC655-AC-97-AUDIO/3000-2110_4-168843.html
Create a folder on you're desktop and name it Realtek.
Download the driver in to the folder and run it.
Here is a little info about chkdsk error; http://www.speedupmypc.info/top-3-windows-registry-repair-software/chkdsk-error/

Realtek HD Driver Instllation failure

Please explain more the position:
1. Is the hard drive properly connected in the computer?
2. have you booted the computer to recognize HD in BIOS?
3. Have you inserted bootabe Windows CD to attempt loading the operating system?
4. Has the Operating system loaded and failed?

Note: hard Drives are made in Standard Industry specs. If its good and connected properly it should work. If it is a second or third hard drive you are connecting, it may be connected wrong in data cables.
