I had the same problem. Vacum the vent port of the dryer after cleaning with bristle brush wand. Then clean the lint trap with the cone shaped bristle brush. The dryer should start working. Also you will need to investigate your vent to the outside, most likely the is a clog.
Check and see if you have 220 volts to your dryer using a volt / ohm meter find the cord and remove cover take meter and go across (1 test lead on left and one on right) side of cord there should be 220 volts.check this and get back to me. if no 220v trip breaker back and forth and try again

Are the controls locked ?? if so push and hold for three to four seconds the end of cycle signal volume button on right side of control panel.that will unlock the controls..If it still wont run you may have a blown thermal fuse...... Good luck hope this helps
To unlock the Control Locked feature: Press and hold the End Of Cycle Signal button for 3 seconds to turn this feature off.
NOTE: When the dryer is running and Control Locked light is on, the dryer can be stopped by pressing the Pause/Cancel button, but cannot be restarted until the control is unlocked.
If holding doesn't unlock the feature, it is likely a faulty interface. I am having the same problem with my Whirlpool dryer and it is the interface, but it seems that a lot of people are able to correct the issue just by pressing the End of Cycle button for 3 minutes.

Dryer door does not think it is closed. There is a sensor on the top of the door that is probably not making contact with the door. Trying pushing the top part of the door and holding it then press the start button.. if the unit starts running then you know what it is. I just had one of these dryers delivered today and had to find out about this by myself tonight!!
look under control panel look for a burned spot or burned wires some thing is throwing the breaker under the control panel one of the controls may be bad with this kind of dryer may have to replace controls
