Jumbo Universal Remote

I have a problem with the Jumbo Universal Remote. I have a JVC tv and a Motorola Comcast box for cable. The cable code for the JVC tv is 060 but it wont change channels and there is no code for comcast cable.

What do I do?

    I have a Jumbo Remote and I can't find the code for my regent dvd player or my Direct TV DVR(TIEVO) or my magnavox DVR help !!!! thanks Rick Sundblad

    I have the same problem finding the correct code for Directv. Works great for the TC and VCR but not the sattelite. Any help would be great.

    I have an Emerson Jumbo Universal Remote, and am unable to get it to work my Direct TV receiver.. everything else works great though, (RCA tv, RCA vcr and Magnavox DVD, even tho this DVD previously would not work with any remote but the original) Please help if possible.

I have a Motorola DVR from Comcast. Code 051 will make all the cable functions work. Haven't figured out how to do anything with the DVR bits,

    PS. I totally lied...sort of. While I can't access the DVR controls directly on the remorte like on the original, you can access the DVR functions using the menu so there's a couple extra steps, but they work fine.

I cant get my jumbo remote to work with my direct tv phillp hd tv, and my rca suround sound and my hd toshiba dvd player, wont turn nothing on or off volume button dont work cant cange channel so whats is the problem

Innovage Jumbo Universal Remote and Comcast Cable
I do not see Comcast cable codes in the manual, so I recommend using the auto-search function for both CABLE and SAT to find one that works for you.

To have the remote try each CABLE or SAT code it knows one at a time, follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your cable box.
  2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
  3. Press the CABLE or SAT button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
  4. Press the ON/OFF button slowly and repeatedly until the cable box turns off. The LED will blink once each time you press the ON/OFF button.
  5. Once the cable box turns off, press the ENTER button to store the code and the LED will turn off.

Unicersal Remote code for Motorola cable box
I found this on another site: It works BUT you don't have all the functionality you would have with the cable remote (of course). If you want power on/off, vol up/down and channel change.. this is your fix.

    I got mine to work using the Code search method. The manual is incorrect though about using the code search: Instead of pressing Power repeatedly, you just press it once. It sequences through the codes. You then need to press Enter immediately when the comcast unit turns off.
