Here's a link to the manual Pioneer's web site.

Here's how you set the time (from page 16 in the manual):

1: press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off.
2: Press AUDIO repeatedly until the clock appears in the display
3: Press (left arrow) or (right arrow) to select the segment of the clock display you wish to set (hours, minutes)
4: Press (up arrow) or (down arrow) to set the clock.

- To cancel clock settings, press BAND
- to save clock settings press AUDIO until the display stops blinking

How to set clock on a pioneer car radio mosfet 50wx4

Mosfet 50wx4 indicates a feature of the Pioneer car radio. It isn't a model number. One Pioneer car radio/CD player with this feature is the DEH-1500. On this model, you need to turn off the unit to set the clock. Press and hold the Source button (to the left of the preset tuning buttons) until the device turns off. Press Audio (upper right corner) repeatedly until the clock appears in the display. Use the arrow keys (Skip/Back or Left/Right) on the right hand side of the radio to select a segment of the time to adjust. Use the Up/Down arrows to set the current time. Repeat choosing the time segment and adjusting the time until both the hour and minutes are correct. Press Band or press and hold the Audio button to exit the clock setting mode.

ManualsLib has the manual for the Pioneer DEH-1500 here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Pioneer-Deh-1500-Car-Cd-Player-Mosfet-50wx4-Super-Tuner-3-Am-Fm-Radio-3432555.html . See page 16 for the clock setting procedure: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/129844/Pioneer-Deh-1500.html?page=16#manual . See page 6 for the picture of the front-panel buttons for the DEH-1500.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model of the car radio if the above procedure doesn't work for your unit.

Pioneer DEH-1500. Battery was disconnecred for an extended time. How do resey the radio.

ok when you pull the radio from the dash you should be able to locate a constant power source to the radio. This is for the radios memory , like when you have presets for radio stations. when you unplug the stereo from the harness all memory will be lost and it should reset. Hope this helps ;)

All of a sudden there is no power to my radio - checked the fuse and that was fine Pioneer DEH-1500 car stereo

sometimes the harness that you buy to connect to the car harness comes loose or has a poor connection you may need to wiggle it or connect the wires directly and bypass the connectors.

Changing the time

Make sure unit is off by pressing and holding the 'Source' button. Wait 3 seconds, and then press and hold the 'Source' button. Do Not Release the button! A display reading "Initial" will show. Then use the arrow buttons surrounding the 'Source' to set clock. The 'Function' button isn't involved, dispite what the manuel states.
