My bosch classix 1200 fl wont spin or drain

Hi davidandsall,

Before it can Spin (The last part of any cycle), it would need to drain the water first. Your machine is stock on that particular position, most likely because of a clog in the Drain Filter compartment.
You will need to clean it.

Please follow my below Tip on how to do it:

My Bosch classic 1200 express washing machine wont drain or spin

Possibly a blocked filter or pump.
Ths filter should be at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover at the bottom of washer.
To clean it, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.

Remove the front lower panel, screws underneath. Be prepared for water, drain out from drain hose. Check filter for clogging, clean out. Sometimes when the load is unbalanced & the machine cannot adjust the load it stops. To avoid this make sure your wash is mixed with big and small clothes.
If this does not work remove the rear panel & check belt, should have half inch ‘give’. Still not good, remove belt, unscrew 2 bolts that hold the motor, unplug the motor connector, lever the motor back with a screwdriver. Check the motor brushes (at terminal end of motor), if they are any shorter than 1 cm replace brushes.

I have a washer dryer (Classix) with both a 600 and 1200 spin - except the 1200 spin is not working any more so that at the end of the cycle I am getting on the 600 spin.

Only adds water and drains

well. check for limescale in the back. if there isnt any there then call a mechanic ^_^

i have just changed my carbon brushes on a wae24162/01 bosch w machine and found a small problem you cannot get to one of the bolts properly,so what i did is cut into the metal backplate with a pair of weiss tinsnips and bend about 2" of metal out of the way,once i had done this it only took ten mins to change brushes and refit motor,simples,dave,london
