Will the NEXXTECH Power Charger for an iPod Shuffle work for an iPod touch

Most 5 V USB chargers will work on iPod, iPhone, Samsung phones and so on. Only the iPad and some big tablets, needs a 2 Amp charger.

Anyone ever experience a loud and high pitched buzzing type of sound coming from the 5 holes under the docking station??? Ive had it for a long time but rarely used it, worked like a champ until that

I notice that some of my cell phone wall chargers make a high pitched ringing sound, not that loud though. I think cheaper internal electrical components are the culprit. (Opinion)

I have an ipod model a1199. i was wondering if you can use a newer ipod touch charger for it? and if not what kind of charger does it use?

Charge an iPod Nano Without a Charger
If you've misplaced or broken the charger that came with your iPod Nano, you might think you need to purchase a new one in order to continue using your Mp3 player.
However, there is a way that you can continue enjoying your iPod without having to purchase a new charger.
As long as you have a USB cord and a computer, you can charge your iPod without having the charger.

Locate the USB cord that came with your iPod Nano package.
It is the same cord that you use in order to sync or transfer music.
Plug the small end into your iPod Nano.

Plug the other, larger end into your computer's USB port.
Choose "Do Nothing" when your computer presents the dialogue box to let you choose what to do with the hardware or USB connection.
Leave your Nano plugged into your computer for at least 4 hours to charge.
Unplug your iPod Nano when charging is complete.
Charge an iPod Without the Charger
Many iPod owners purchase a charging unit that plugs into a standard wall outlet to recharge the iPod's battery.
However, the iPod wall charger is not included with new purchases, so consumers must either purchase a separate charger or find a way to charge their iPod using other means.
Here's a simple method to charge your iPod using your computer.

Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of your iPod.
Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on your Mac or PC computer.

Open the iTunes program by clicking on the icon in the Dock on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC.
Click on the name of your iPod under the "Devices" heading in the main iTunes window.
Click on the "Sync" button to synchronize your iPod with your computer data.
While the iPod is syncing, the power from the USB port on your computer will charge your iPod's battery.

Unplug your iPod from the computer once the battery is fully charged.

This one should be ok.

My Ipod Nano Wont Charge on the wall Charger.

Hello Kawase,

I would suggest you try charging the unit this one time by connecting it to the computer. I suspect that the charger may be defective if plugging the wall charger into the iPod has no effect on the low battery warning. If the iPod is able to be charged from the USB port on your computer that would tend to confirm that the charger is not working. If the iPod does not charge when connected to either the computer or the wall charger then you may very well have a another defective iPod.

Best Regards
Ken

Ipod show plug in

This is the result of a firmware update.

You need to plug it into an Apple wall charger rather than a generic USB charger in order to complete the firmware update.

If you have used an Apple charger already then take your iPod to an Apple store as they can remedy this.
