Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
Without a model number, I do work on sony LCDs.
The audio is on the mainboard. You need the mainboard replaced.
Reboot every device by unplugging the AC power , if the sound still cuts off replace the mainboard

Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100, No Picture No sound

I have a sony bravia kdl 40v 5100 for less than two years and i did not purchased an extended warranty and now my tv is down.
I have no picture, no sound just a black screen when i turn the power on, the power (green) light is lite up and the tv turns off by itself for like less than 30 seconds. I have tried to press as many buttons on the remote control and on the side of the TV to get any message but nothing seem to happen. Any suggestions and solutions? Thanks

How we can disable the sound ( sound of chime ) which takes place on starting sony bravia tv with appearance of 'SONY' symbol. i m using bravia 26 ex 300.. it is embarrassing when someone is sleeping n u...

I'm sorry, but you can't. They are like most (not all) Samsung models with the start up chime. It's built into the software. I will be speaking with a Sony Rep this week and will ask him if they have an answer to this issue. If I find they do I will post it on google. Just type "Its Sony Chime"
