Dell Inspiron E1705 is two years old. This problen just started. During power-on the monitor changes to too bright and has low contrast. After an hour ir two, it just snaps into proper brightness and contrast.
If you have your Dell driver disc have to uninstall the video adapter driver and reinstall it. Restart the laptop and observe if things still happening. No need to do an update for the video driver though on this regard. Or on the other hand try to do a System Restore. Restoring your computer profile/settings on the previous date that it was working fine. But before you gonna do that have to back-up first the important files that you have to your external hard drive or USB flash drive. Hope these things help. Thank you.
