Jim,

If you are using an Internet browser to access your e-mail, you need to try optimizing your browser by deleting the Cookies and Cache. To do this, please follow the steps below:

* For Internet Explorer

1. Open your Internet Explorer > Tools
2. Internet Options > click on 'Delete' under the Browsing History
3. Click on OK
4. Close and reopen the IE and try accessing your e-mail again.

* For Mozilla Firefox

1. Open your Firefox > Tools
2. Clear Recent History > select Everything on the drop-down menu
3. OK - close and reopen your Firefox
4. Access your e-mail.

If these steps would not resolve the issue, try accessing your e-mail using another computer so that you could determine if there's a problem with your Internet browser.

Have a great day Jim!

I forgot my pattern password and my email password

Pattern Password ??????
Which email account ?????...
Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Gmail make it easy for email account holders to request an old password.
You must know your complete email address and have an alternative email address or cell phone number where a confirmation code can be sent.
If you cannot get your password back, your email provider will delete the old one. You can then create a new password.
Go to the email provider's website. For example, if your email address is registered with Yahoo!, go to Yahoo.com and if your email address is registered with Hotmail, go to Hotmail.com.
Find the sign-in section on the main page of the website.
You will see one box for your email ID and one for your email password.

Click the link that says, "Forgot your password?" if you're trying to recover a password belonging to a Hotmail email account.
Click the link that says, "Can't Access Your Account?" if you want to recover a password belonging to a Yahoo! or Gmail email account.
Check the circle indicating that you need to recover your password.
A page under the heading, "Reset your password," will appear.
You'll be asked to enter your email address.
Enter the characters in the picture box to confirm that your request is authentic. Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Google employ this security feature to stop automated programs from illegally accessing email accounts.
Click "Continue."
Confirm your cell phone number or alternate email address, which the email provider will use to send a confirmation code.
Do not exit from this page.
You will need it later.
Go back to the page where you confirmed your cell phone number.
Enter the confirmation code that you received.
Click "Next."
Enter a new password, if requested, or sign in using your old password, which will appear on screen.

I signed out of gmail. now it won't let me sign in. it gives me the sign-up page, and i can't access my own account.

    Hi,
Indeed it is frustrating (and weird as well). But can you check, you signed out correctly? If you open Google.com, you will see your email address at top right of the page. If not, then change the try changing the browser. These are only to get sign in page. If you are getting sign in page and cannot sign in that means password is wrong. you can try password reset.
    Thanks

My Email is sending out random messages

You may have opened an email and thought it was from a friend.

It was spam and then contacted all of your friends and sent them things too.

    Try this and see if it stops for you;

    To change your password:

    1. From the Yahoo! Home page, click on your user name in the upper right.(You will need to be signed in already)
    2. From the drop down select Account Info
    3. You will be asked to sign in again to enter your Account Info page.
    4. Click Change your password
    5. You will be taken to a page that will look like the one below.

    Change
    View Full Image

    6. Enter your current password.
    7. Enter and confirm your new password.
    8. Click Save. You will see a confirmation page when you have successfully changed your password.
    9. Click Continue.

    Next..

    1. Sign into your Yahoo! account.
    2. Click on your name at the top of the page and select "Account Info" from the pull-down list. You will be required to verify your current password.
    3. Under "Sign-In and Security," click "Update password - reset info."
    4. You can choose one of the security questions we have made available or your can choose your own.
    5. Be sure to click "Save" after you have provided your new information.

    Next

    1. From the Yahoo! Home Page, click on your Yahoo! ID (You will need to be signed in to proceed).
    2. From the pull down menu select Account Info
    3. You will be re-directed to a sign in page.
    4. Sign in using your Yahoo! ID and password.
    5. In your Account Info page you will see a block called Contact Information
    6. Click Change next to your Yahoo! Email address.
    7. From the Manage your email addresses page you can change, delete, or add a new alternate email address.
    8. Click Save

    Change your security questions also!

Also; make sure you have a really good Anti virus protection.

I use AVG, it doesn't cost anything if you do their free version and Malwarebytes.

If it is a virus that has you, one of these 2 usually detect it!

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

    http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-free-antivirus

Download the one of your choice (i have both),

    Install it and run it.

It will detect if you have rampant viruses.

    Good luck!
