LG Super Multi DVD Writer. Playes video but no Sound ??

my LG SUPERMULTI DVD WRITER doesn't read SECURE DISCS .

its and productivty problem of lg multidvd writer i here a lot of this cause plz replace you dvd writer

1st step; Acquire/buy a cd/dvd rom drive cleaning tool kit from your local pc store.
2nd step; Install a dvd coder/decoder software, try Power DVD player software it has a trial version
3rd step; After installing the DVD coder/decoder from Power DVD player try playing a dvd movie rom disc it should work/play... hope these tips help ;-)

my LG dvd writer will not read nor burn cds.

plz download the latest firmware for your dvd rw

your dvd writer have warranty
so you contact LG customer care is better
you can use their free service warranty

you have the c installation cd with you then ok
you go to device manager and uninstall the device
from there
and then reinstall it using the hardware cd given to you if
even then the problem persists reinstall windows this will do the trick
before that please verify whether u have any hardware issues
