your dv cam sensed a condensation means some moist is inside the unit, to protect the sensitive electronics on it. it disabled normal function of the dv cam. try to avoid placing the dv cam from sudden cold area to hot area, or vice-versa do not use dv cam until condensation message is gone

I have a camcorder and started getting a message that there were condensation issues...please wait....then I started getting bands across my screen that prevent me from viewing video at all

Erroneous condensation message happens more often to this series, but users can not do anything about it. You may try to leave it running for sometime if the error is legitimate it should disappear, if not visit your nearest JVC Service Center.

Getting a message on my camcorder lcd. "condensation operation paused"

According to my Canon manuel, it occurs when condensation forms water droplets inside the camera. It also says that the camcorder will auto matically shut off. Time will vary depending on location and weather condition. General rule is 2 hours.

Condensation operation of camcorder paused

Condensation problem is a common on newer camcorders. It is the sensor on the board that detects the condition of humidy. If you have not wet the camera or stored it in the humid area, the sensor or components around sensor is faulty. You can try to dry any humidity using hair dryer at medium setting in about 6 inches away for less than 5 minutes toward inside of tape loading area (make sure loading mech is at opened position). If this does not work, take it to recommended local camcorder repair facility for a diagnostics. Good Luck. CRJ

Jvc comcorder getting error message "condensation, operation paused"

If the camera becomes damp or cold and brought into a warm atmosphere damp forms in the mechanism which would cause the tape to stick and become damaged or fouled.

leave the camera to warm up for a few hours and the fault should clear.

If not the most common reason is the dew sensor has failed and needs replacing
