Cannot open yahoo messenger - Computers & Internet

I assume you are accessing Yahoo! Messenger from your Computer. Well, if you've signed out, simply open the Yahoo! Messenger and sign in again using your Yahoo ID and Password. You should have a Yahoo Messenger icon similar to this on your desktop...


When it is opened, you'll see the sign-in box which should look more or less similar to this:


You can also open the Yahoo! Messenger from the Taskbar, double-click the Yahoo!Messenger icon on the taskbar to open it.. (reddened icon below)


If you can't find it on the desktop or on the taskbar, click "Start" > "All Programs" > "Yahoo! Messenger" and open it, or you should see the Yahoo!Messenger icon in the Start Menu Program lists.

sign in your Yahoo Messenger. Then go to MESSENGER, then YAHOO! CHAT, then JOIN ROOM
MESSENGER is located at the upper portion beside the CONTACTS. i hope this helps. goodluck!

If you have no Yahoo account, open this LINK and sign up for one.

If you haven't yet installed Yahoo! Messenger on your computer, please follow this LINK, and follow the instructions to download and install the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger. Once it's installed, open the Yahoo! Messenger, type in your yahoo username and password to sign/log in to your yahoo messenger account.

If you already have a Yahoo account with username (Yahoo ID) and password, open Yahoo! Messenger and sign in using the username and password.

Uninstall your yahoo messenger, click start menu, click settings and control panel. Double click add/remove programs and uninstall yahoo messenger. After uninstalling download yahoo messenger from this link. Click download latest version to download the yahoo messenger and install after downloading. Then try to open your yahoo messenger to test if its working! Have a nice day!

Open google abd in its search box type"downloading yahoo messenger",press enter key.
A page will open with many downloading option for yahoo messenger,one i am giving to u as:
Yahoo Messenger 8.1 Free downloading.
Similarly u can find many more such options.
Click on them. A new page will open on the bottom of which there could be many options like:Yahoo messenger Free download,JBuddy messenger free download,etc.
Click on Download option to download them.

clear your Yahoo! Messenger cache files

For XP:
1. Exit Yahoo! Messenger by right-clicking the tray icon and selecting "Exit."
2. On your keyboard, press "Windows Logo+R" to open the "Run" command.
3. Type in "cmd" and click "OK." This opens a Command Prompt window.
4. Copy and paste each of the following commands into the command prompt. Press the "Enter" key after pasting each command.

not able to open yahoo email and yahoo messenger

you might need to uninstall the program, and reinstall it one more time , pls go to yahoo's website and install the latest version.
