I have a LG RH277H just purchased. I have connected the aerial to DVDRec and then to TV as per instructions and tuned it. I seem to be picking up an analogue signal which is not very clear. My TV (Digital) obviously has a clear picture (and a lot more channels) and I need to know how to fix up the DVD recorder to record the same (digital) signal the TV is receiving rather than this analogue one.
Any help would be appreciated

SOURCE: Is it possible to tune
Unfortunately no, it is not possible to tune Hd / Sd channels on the Panasonic DMR-E85H, because it only has an analogue TV tuner.
For Sd, you could insert a 'digibox' between the RF aerial input and the DVD, but you won't be able to get Hd currently unless you subscribe to a cable or satellite provider.

Is your recorder hooked up to the new convert box for digital antenna reception?
I am currently researching the convert boxes for my dvd recorder. I found that some dvd recorders already have digital converter boxes already installed. This might be the case for you.
