I need to know how to adjust the band to fit my arm
Just take a tiny little jewelery screw driver small enough to fit in the pin hole and tap it with anything that you can find. Then pull out other end. Look for arrows indicating which way to remove pin and go in that direction Some pins are like a hairpin and have a split at one end. Replace solid end first opposite of arrow direction. If there are arrows in both directions on the same link; like Fossil for instance, that means that it doesn't matter which direction the pins are removed or replaced. They are solid and they can go back either end first. It's easy. To get the pin in all the way I just used the little screw driver and tapped it in. Good luck.
The tools to do this are expensive unless you do it all the time. You can go to your Fossil Store and they will adjust your watch quickly.
If you do not have a Fossil store near you, go to a jewlery store or jewelry repair shop and they will do it for anywhere around $2.00 to $14.95.
The Fossil Store does it for free, though!
U can do it yourself using a cutting player and a small sharp apparatus..
just detach the watch and the band using the sharp needle like apparatus..
now you can remove off the unwanted portion by pulling off using the cutting player,...
I just adjusted my Fossil watch by using a small pick tool, it had an end that was small enough to fit into the hole on the end of each link. You just have to push hard sometimes to force the pin out at the other end. It helps to push against something that will give a little or to hold it sideways as you push to see when the other end will begin to poke out, then use a pair of tweezers to pull the rest of the way out (the pins are very narrow).
What is a cutting player
