Hi, I have a Sharp Microwave Ovens, Microwave Sharp Carousel Model R3A36 and I need to know what wattage it have. Could you help me? I looked in the back but I couldn't find it. If you could help me I will appreciate.

I just checked my R-3A36 manual to find out the wattage. it's 800 watts. i make pralines in my microwave. i am always asked for the recipe. so i needed to be able to tell people the wattage of my oven so they can adjust the recipe to their oven.

The confusion is that a formula for figuring wattage is volts (120) x amps = watts, and this specific model lists "A" as 12.0 (which I assume is the number of amps), which would make the total for watts to be 1440, which is very different from 800watts, which this post gives as the answer. Thus my confusion...........

Open the door, check the inner walls. or on the frame when you open the door. it should be on the same tag as your model and serial number.

I checked in the inner walls and on the frame and also in the same tag as the model and serial number, but Wattage it isn't there..maybe because it's a little old. If some one know I'll appreciate..
Lost manual, can't find out the wattage, which I need for cooking.
