My Nokia N70 also showed the white screen.

My nokia n70 showed blank screen but i was able to do outgoing calls and also getting incoming calls. I took the mobile to the nokia service center where they said that the display is gone and need to change which will cost me Rs.1900/- plus their service charge (Rs.300/-)and also sadi it will take more than 2-3 days to change. then i took the mobile to one of the local shop and the guy in front me changed the display for just Rs.1400/- without any service charge. He showed me the new display of Nokia(the pack witha seal which he tored infront of me)Now its working cool.
